Policy · Accessibility statement
Built for everyone, and still improving.
Accessibility is part of our work: we audit and advise on it for others through Universal Access, and we apply the same standards to our own website and programmes.
This website
Our target and our gaps.
- TargetWe aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, in line with India's accessibility standards for websites.
- What we work towardsText alternatives for images, readable contrast, keyboard navigation, and pages that work on small screens and with screen readers.
- Known gapsSome older pages, embedded documents and videos may not yet meet the target. We are fixing these as we rebuild the site.
Our programmes
Tell us what you need.
We make reasonable adjustments for participants with disabilities, such as accessible venues, materials in other formats, extra time or support at juries. Tell us when you apply, or at any time.
Found a barrier on this site or in a programme? Write to dic@hcd.institute with 'Accessibility' in the subject and we will respond. Last updated: 5 November 2026.
