Partner with HCD School.
Sponsor an HCD Lab in a school of your choice, or start a partner chair or a branded lab at DIC Hub, IIT Hyderabad, an HCD centre or a school. Children learn to observe, question and reason from evidence, on problems from their own communities. You see the work, every term.
Three ways to partner
Choose where your support goes.
- 01 · Sponsor a labSponsor an HCD Lab in a school you choose.Fund HCD Lab @ School for one cohort, a whole school or a group of schools: a school near your offices or plant, a government school in your district, or one we match with you. DIC Hub, IIT Hyderabad faculty teach the curriculum, the school's teachers train to lead it, and students solve real problems from their own neighbourhood.
Sponsor a lab → - 02 · Partner chairFund a partner chair.A named chair in human-centred design, for example in your industry's field, that supports a fellow or faculty position, research and student projects on the problems your sector faces. Chairs at DIC Hub, IIT Hyderabad are subject to the institute's approval and terms.
Discuss a chair → - 03 · Branded labSet up a branded lab.A named lab at DIC Hub, IIT Hyderabad, at an HCD centre, or in a partner school, fitted and run to HCD standards. Your teams bring live problems; students and fellows work on them as projects, with mentoring and internships for the best.

What partners receive

- RecognitionYour name on the lab or chair, and in programme materials, as agreed in the MoU.
- ReportingA report each term on students reached, projects completed and jury results, with photographs of the work, shared with your consent and the school's.
- Live problemsYour teams can bring real problems for students and fellows to work on, and sit on project juries.
- PeopleEmployee volunteering as mentors, under our child safety policy, and a pipeline of interns from DIC Hub, IIT Hyderabad and HCD programmes.
- CSREducation is an eligible CSR activity under Schedule VII of India's Companies Act, 2013. Your CSR team confirms eligibility for your own company, and we provide the documentation it needs.
Scope, naming, funding, reporting and duration are agreed in an MoU. Fees are shared in a meeting, not on the website. Sponsored students are never asked to pay, and sponsorship never influences who is admitted to any HCD programme.
