Where this conversation started.

On 26 October 2026, at CBSE's 4th National Summit on Facilitating School to Work Transition in New Delhi, Mathew Sebastian, Founding Board Member of HCD Institute, spoke on the panel on Design Thinking, Creativity & Innovation for Skill Development.

The panel was chaired by Sh. Sanjib Das, Director (Affiliation), CBSE, with Sh. Sundeep Chhabra, EdTech and Skill Development Leader, and Sh. Joseph Christo, National Head, HR & Administration, Joyalukkas.

HCD Lab @ School

A design thinking and innovation curriculum from DIC Hub, IIT Hyderabad, run by your own teachers in the timetable, at weekends or in vacation camps. A 5-day workshop, a 20-hour mentored project over three weeks, and a jury every cycle. Students earn a certificate from DIC, IIT Hyderabad.

Internships and projects

Through the HCD Apprenticeship Programme, students take up internships and projects with HCD partner companies and organisations: paid internships first, co-projects with industry when no paid place is available. Online, offline or hybrid, always child-safe.
