Policy · Academic integrity & AI use
Your thinking, honestly shown.
Our programmes assess how you think. That only works if the work you show is yours, and if you are open about the tools and help you used.
The rules
Simple and clear.
- Your own workSubmit work you and your team made. Group work is shared; say who did what.
- Credit sourcesName the people, research, images and ideas you used.
- AI tools are allowed, openlyYou may use AI tools for research, ideas, drafting and prototyping where the brief allows. Say which tool you used and for what. You remain responsible for the result.
- Real researchNever invent interviews, users, data or results.
- JuriesBe ready to explain any part of your work at the jury. If you can't explain it, it isn't assessed as yours.
If integrity is broken
Learn first, then consequences.
A first, minor lapse is usually a conversation and a chance to redo the work. Serious or repeated cases, such as copying another team's project or fabricating research, may mean the work is not assessed and no certificate is issued.
